I loved the look of the wooden grip on my GP100 357 Match Champion, but it just didn't fit my hand all that good. I ordered a Hogue grip from Ruger and installed it. It fits my hand great, I know it doesn't have the Match Champion look...but it has to be comfy to shoot...:)

If the grip is not right, how can be expected to shoot well. I use Hogue grips on many of my guns because replaceing some of the factory units can get very expensive.

Great gun, enjoy.

Thanks Blaze....I like the feel of the wooden grip, but the wooden grip had a bulky feel and my hand just didn't fit it too good. If I get a chance I am going to try to find and hold some wooden grips that have the finger groves in them....
