Hello all it's been awhile, just wanted to share my scope mounting experience in my 10-22 TD. I bought a Leopold 1.5-5x20 optic and weaver low rings. To my disappointment The scope wouldn't fit with low rings. So in true American fashion I made it work. I used a steel and removed the center rider (for lack of better term) of the scope base. After mounting I can see daylight between scope and base "perfect". I really like the compact setup, just wanted to share. It's VERY accurate

Magpul (Backpacker) there's a compartment in the stock to hold extra mags, fire starter, fishing line or any other SHTF accessories. There's a compartment in the pistol grip I keep a Swiss army knife it's really a neat setup. To mount this scope that low simply remove some material from mount rail so the turret housing clears, I used a dremel
