Magnumblackhawk , mentioned something about seeing pics of 1911s, I love gun pics too.

It dont have to be a Ruger, any 1911 (to me) is beauty.

Here is my first pic of My Springfield Arms Range Officer 1911

this is a 9mm Laser i did last year ( I call it the Laser because it shoots like a laser)
even did the hot bluing myself with my own special blend
it has a few new internals as well as remodeled thumb safeties
EGW bushing, sear and .200" slidestop and flatbottom firing pin stop
all the rest of the parts were refit and polished as needed
but much time was put in the reshape, polish work and dehorning
sumac wood grips with special grips screws

This may sound silly to some but I am hesitant to show any pics of my rifles and pistols. Buster put a good article about the FCC and the changes they are going to try to make. The government is not a nanny state, it is tyranny run amok! Our 2nd amendment is being trampled upon by any government agency that Obama can get to enforce laws that are guaranteed by our constitution. I have some that I am very proud of and would like to show them however with all the hacking of computers, how much is actually done by the government? They say they need a court order. That may be so now, but who knows when that will change. Don't mean to hi-jack this thread as it is not my intent. I am just expressing some caution and rage against those who would believe that our government will obey the law as it is stated in the constitution. Sorry for my rant!!

If you buy .22 ammo at WalMart they ask is the ammo for a rifle or a handgun. If the purchases weren't being tracked then there would be no need for that question to be asked. Anyone has a gun I believe the government probably knows it anyway now.
Besides the guns I showed fell into the lake when my canoe tipped over.

3Tango I am a big fan of the Sig P238 and P938. Very nice guns for sure. Feel good in the hand and I have never shot a 380 with less felt recoil than the Sig. I am guessing the P938 might be the same for less felt recoil.

phideaux, I'm having a hard time not buying a Sig Ultra Carry Two-Tone.

You're making it hard to hold off. I like it, want it, don't need it.

I know it's my own fault. I wanted pics.

    Jim,
You are probably right so I will download for all to see.
First of all are my RugerSR1911's . Top is full size, 2nd is Combat commander and last is my LW Commander. If you notice I use all Pachmyr grips on my pistols as my fingers are long and they are comfortable to hold on to.

Second set is: Colt Combat Commander, all steel, new barrel and bushing with Pachmyr grips and a trigger job. This is a good shooter but the only problem I have is the stock military sights. This happens to be kind of rare as it is a 9mm. Middle one is a Ruger GP 100, 4" barrel with the Hogue grips and have had for over 25 yrs. Last of all is my Smith & Wesson, Model 17-5, only made 2 yrs. It has big target trigger, and target sights and is a 6" .22 cal. I have had many chances to sell it and my Colt however I have had them for years and continue to enjoy them. I also have some shotguns and rifles however not many left as I haven't shot rifle in the last 20 yrs. One of my .22 cal. rifles is a Remington 541S in mint condition with a Weaver 40th Anniversary golden scope with engraved mounting rings. That happens to be my old "squirrel shooter" and metallic targets when I was doing that.

LMAO Magnum Jim just twisted it in a little deeper telling where you can even buy one. Heck Magnum none us need one and that is no excuse.
I got caught up in Jim's post for short list and I have to eat beans for next couple months.
And as for Tommy........I am guessing you have more guns than I have.
