Guys, I'm considering a GP100 and am wondering, should I expect bore leading if I shoot 158 grain lead bullet .38 +1 rounds? Thanks in advance.
Any gun shooting lead ammo will eventually get lead fouling. Regular cleaning and bore inspection after shooting should prevent fouling. I have noticed my LCR is more prone to lead build up than my GP100 M/C. I believe you would get more out of RugerTalk by going to introduction thread and allow other members to get to know you. It is appreciated. Buster
Willie, First off Welcome to the Forum. If you get the correct hardness of bullet no leading for me so far. But if the bullet is soft you probably will get leading.
