I have the LCR 357 and it is my main carry. Shooting 357 in it is a handful for sure but shooting 38 special is easy enough recoil to shoot at the range for fun shooting. I carry loaded with 357 just because I want the added power protection. The 357 model is 4 oz. heavier than the LCR+P. The latter feeling almost feather light which I bet shooting the +P is fairly stout recoil also due to the light weight of it. I haven't shot the 9mm and I really don't know the felt recoil with it. Accuracy it has fairly consistent patterns. Check out hickok45 you tube video on the LCR.
I carry the gun in my front jeans pocket and IMO I don't need a holster for it. I wanted a revolver for the safety of it as well as the dependability. What kept me away from getting a revolver was I hadn't shot one that I liked the trigger. The LCR trigger is IMO awesome. Smooth fairly light pull to be able to stay on target yet without being so light for an unintentional firing. I really like my LCR.
