After shooting a couple hundred rounds (I love this gun, so fun to shoot) thru my new LCR 38+p I was cleaning the barrel and noticed that my patches seemed to be catching on something inside the barrel. This is what I found. I am waiting for a call tag from Ruger to send it back but figured I would post the picture and see if anyone familiar with the manufacturing process of this barrel can tell me how this happened. It shot fine and very accurately but I don't want to shoot it anymore since I know it isn't right.

Picked up by UPS at my door last Monday at 7pm. Returned to my door today (the next Monday) at 6pm. 1 hour less than a full week. New barrel new pawl and new trigger.

    GO RUGER.
