Just purchased an LCP II last night from Smokey Mountains Gun and Ammo. Price was $239.99 w/free shipping. Got a notice this morning it was sent by USPS to my FFL. Great price and service.

Just got notice my LCP2 is at my FFL. Pretty quick shipping, bought Wednesday night, and USPS got it here in two days.
Hopefully by the end of next week I can take it out and compare with my TCP 738, Bodyguard, and LCP Custom. Right now my favorite carry is the Custom...
FYI, just checked Smokey Mountain Gun & Ammo and they are out of stock on the LCP2. Glad I jumped on it right away...

Hey WizardMaster, there was a reason when I was a Fed that they used me for a battering ram instead of one of the guys with a gun.
Hickok45 makes an awesome video on the LCPII.... You should go watch it......
Thanks, I just watched it again. Always nice to watch Hickok45. Hadn't looked at it for over a year. Had a stroke in 01/16 and finally got back to normal this February, whatever normal is for a 73 year old kid. So just starting to get back into my toys. I appreciate you reminding me to check out that video again. Have a good weekend.

Good deal, just don't think you are going to shoot 200 rounds at the range and have fun. I carry a 2nd gen LCP I everywhere. It's a great complement to a Glock 42 or 19.
Comparison between the LCP II and the TOP.

I carried the TCP a long time. I liked it a lot. Minimal sights but a smooth double action trigger. The trigger was just as good as the one on my Kahr. It was accurate also. Palm sized groups at 10 yards. But the sights really didn't lend themselves to my tired old eyes past that point.

The LCD II took everything the TCP had and improved on it. Crisp single action trigger, good sights. Plates at 30 yards are very doable with the better sights and trigger. The LCP II does not sting your hand like the LCP does either.

If the TCP was 4 stars across the board, the LCP II is 5 stars.

End the end the TCP went away, because it started dropping mags. I would take it out of the holster and the magazine would be loose. I kept the Kahr and the LCP II.

I have a Glock 19, which I bought at government discount, came with six 15 round magazines back in the day extended mags were for law enforcement only, for under $400. Carried it for 15 years on and off duty. It's got over 7500 rounds through it, and steal shoots great. Our agency gave us 500 rounds a month to practice with. So now I carry a 9 mm shield or my LCR 38. Hoping to get my new LCP2 out this week.
Right Nick, don't think 200 rounds would be fun with the 380s.
Just put my Hogue grip on my new LCP2, got my two LCP2 mags in today from Grabagun, and 100 rounds of Ranger T, police trade-in for $23 per 50 round box from Sportsman Outdoor SS. So now if it would stop raining at my range this week, might be able to shoot a little.

I routinely shoot 50 to 100 rounds on a trip, if the trip is focused on the 380. I can with the LCP II, could not with the LCP.
Plan on about 25 rds of ball and 25 jhp through the LCP2, then same through my BG380. Next trip my LCP Custom and my SR22, with bunch through my SR22 for some fun.
Hard to beat the LCP Dos for a pocket/ankle BUG. I carry mine with Underwood Xtreme Defender. Added orange Testor's paint to the front sight, as black-on-black is just too hard to pick up. The Hogue sleeve widens the grip substantially. I will probably switch to Talon grips soon.

EasyCZ nice job on the orange dot sight. Should make for a nice shooting piece.
