Okay, got a new lc9s the other day and after a bit I noticed that the extractor sat kinda funny. I've Googled it and seen others this way and read other forums just thought I'd see if I could get any opinions. Welcome to the forum from deep south Texas!!!!

I have one of the older LC9s in DA. The extractor on it sits flush on the slide with or without a round in the chamber. Does the gun work correctly? Have ya tried firing it to see if it works correctly? Seems like if the extractor works, it's o.k.

There are a few others here with these guns. Maybe you will get more responses to compare. I have never looked at any other guns like this, so I really couldn't tell ya for sure.

Thanks pancho, no I haven't made it out to fire it but it does extract fine. I've looked online and a lot look like mine but some don't and that just seems strange to me. I figured I'd ask here to see if maybe someone has the same thing or maybe they had it fixed and they were happier with it.

Thanks
