How come, the manual shows different part numbers for LC380 recoil springs and those of the LC9, yet when you go to Ruger's LC380 parts and click on the recoil springs it shows you (and orders) the LC9 part numbers?
(Which are out of stock, by the way)

I dont have the answer, but I do have both the LC9 AND the LC380, and can tell you with certainty, they are different springs.

I called Ruger and spent half-hour on the phone with 4 different folks (and some of the their supervisors) and confirmed that 1) LC9 and LC380 recoil springs are different, 2) Clicking on the parts ordering for the LC380 recoil springs will substitute LC9 recoil springs in the shopping cart, 3) The orders department can't correct the order for LC380 recoil springs because those part numbers are not accepted by their parts ordering system (yet). It is possible to buy LC380 recoil springs, but not through the normal process.
