I read this and I just shook my head. I thought could this be for real? Are they actually going to use this year football games for further political patriotic destruction in our country? I never thought I would see unpatriotic actions being force viewed during prime time by perhaps millions of people. I remember about a year or so ago the NFL wanted to quit having the national anthem because it took up to much costly time away from the allotted time for the game.
I think if this happens then I think the people in the stands should boycott buying anything from the concession stands.
Kids can't say prayer or read bibles in school, High school football games can't have game prayers. High schools are saying the flag can't be displayed because it can offend some people causing tensions to flare into disturbances. Soldiers and even military chaplains are told what they can or can't do regarding expressing their faith.
It appears this is just another sneak end around play to the downfall of this country. Even a seeing eye dog can see we are about to step into a manhole.

I always wonder how many of these panty waist morons ever did service in our military to afford them their rights.

I'm thinking it ain't absolutely necessary to serve in the military to help support our rights. In fact, our rights kept getting squeezed at home when a bunch of folks were off in Korea and Vietnam and now in the Middle East. The people at home need to hold up their end. I'm sure I could do more (wish I wasn't so damn tired, I oughta run for president), but I run my mouth and the two typing fingers pretty regular, and not just here.

Remember when Uncle Sam was on billboards pointing his finger? My pointing finger ain't broke.

    That's a fact ^^^

Buy I can tell you, that , once you have served , and fought for the freedom of this country...That National Anthem , and the Red ,White and Blue have a different meaning than it did before .

When you have had your friends bleed to death before your eyes, because they were there for those freedoms, those two things symbolize,
and some panty waist moron disrespects that .....well its just a little different .

I agree there are many ways to help support our rights and freedoms, my contribution just happen to be in a place on the far side of the world.

Now it consist of sending letters to my congressmen on a regular basis, hope it helps.

I fly Old Glory at my home every day.

I do not understand how a second string quarterback who draws an $11 million dollar salary does not have enough sense to stand and hold his hand over his heart when the National Anthem is played. I am so sick of these socialites or the elitists who think they are above what our nation stands for. And to hold up your fist like a black panther needs to be cut from the roster too. Roger Goddell, head of NFL could come out and say, "if you won't stand for our national anthem, then we don't need you in our league". You take your little playbook and head down the road. He is disrespecting all of our vets from WWII to the present day and the only reason he is allowed to kneel is because thousands of vets have died to preserve our way of life. I am tired of the political correctness in our country. Some things are sacred and the flag and the national anthem are 2 of them. If you want to burn my flag, then I will help you. I will wrap it around you, pour gas all over it and even light it for you.
I could care less if your great great granddaddy was a slave and I owe you nothing however as a vet, you owe me and my brothers and sisters in arms who served this great country. Stand and at least listen to the song if you don't know the words but don't expect any support or help from me or brother and sister vets who gave all just so you could spit out some spiel about how bad you have it. If you don't support our country then you certainly have the right to leave. I will hold the door open for you and DO NOT expect to come back.

Well, Since I am Irish, and my Irish brothers were used as slaves long before the African Americans were used, I am now demanding cash payment for all the losses I have suffered. Hell, I can't even sleep at night thinking about all the injustice that occurred. Y'all think this will work?

I am half Hawaiian and they took over my state. I wasn't asked nor warned, we were just annexed from being a territory and forcing us to be a state. Before the islands were discovered by the English, we had no disease, no taxes, no welfare, we just lived on the land and garnering our needs from the land. So now, since all the Native Americans have their casinos, BLM wants rights that white people don't have and all the others want something for nothing, I am going to protest. If the Native Americans can have their casinos, then why can't I have one? After I have my casino I won't need food stamps, rent subsidies, a college education and proper housing. And I would be proud to have the Irish come in and serve Irish beer and plenty of potatoes. All I ask is to bring along a proper amount of money to spend. I am equal opportunity so I see nothing wrong with any race, color, creed or sexual preference coming in and spending all their welfare checks and we will accept the credit cards the government gives them. That way they won't be spending their "rightful" cash on drugs and other drug related paraphernalia.

Mahalo for your money and come again soon when the government gives you more.

If these protesting unpatriotic morons actually want to protest then they should leave this, in their thinking, such a terrible racist country. The reason they don't leave is because they have it made here making big bucks. Just going to prove they are nothing but grandstanders.
Hopefully these protestor on national viewing loose their sponsors. One way to protest them is to write their sponsors and advertisers informing them that you are boycotting their products. You can bet money talks.

Tommy wins. I absolutely love Hawaii and I also have many Hawaiian relatives, so maybe I could also jump on this bandwagon.
