I am new to THIS forum but I see a lot of contributors from another forum and they have a lot of info available.
I feel shooting is an excellent skill to acquire and it gives me a reason to go out and get some exercise.
My particular interests are small game hunting with airgun and .22, meat hunting bear (blk), and moose. also collect WWII rifles.

I lived in AK for a couple of years and had to move for family reasons. I want to move back and I'm looking for business opportunities or good paying job, can anyone help?
List your skills and check with the native corporations, [ASRC(Arctic Slope Regional Corp.), CIRI( Cook Inlet Region Inc.), NANA (from their webpage: NANA is not an acronym. NANA Regional Corporation was formed in 1972 as a for-profit Alaska Native corporation. The precursor to NANA was the Northwest Alaska Native Association, a non-profit formed in 1966 to advocate for Native issues. NANA is not an acronym for the non-profit and should not be referred to as such.)]
There are other smaller ones but these employ hundreds of people native and non native for a variety of jobs, anything from hospitality and housekeeping to heavy equipment operators to IT Techs. Figure your stengths and weaknesses and look them up. The BOLD letters will do for the search
Good luck.

It seems every show on TV now is about Alaska. I really like most of the shows and it makes me want to move up there. I'd love to have a cabin in the woods but still be able to go to town. The shows with people living way off the grid look great but that's way too much work for me.
