    Went to check out a new (to me) LGS and this was sitting there calling out my name.

    22/45 M-III Used but mint condition. $249 OTD

    You are going to love the accuracy of that gun. I have the MKll and it makes me look like a marksman.
    Very nice price. I lucked out and friend sold me mine 15 years ago for $100.
    Why is it they call it the 22/45? What does the 45 stand for?

    The 22/45 models of the MKIII have grip frames that are suppose to mimic the frames of 1911s in shape, size, controls. The 45 pays homage to the original chambering of the 1911.
