I am a Vietnam Era Navy Veteran, USS Lexington, CVT-16, Flight-deck, '68-'73 still own the first gun I bought after I got out of boot camp in '69...a Ruger single action six, 22 lr and 22 WMR Magnum...I was 19 I'm now 63 and the gun still shoots good as ever...you will never catch me with out it on my side or within arms reach...BlueEagle is my nick name...

Welcome to Ruger Talk from deep south Texas. Would that be the same USS Lexington that is now a museum at North Beach in Corpus Christi, Texas? Known as "The Gray Ghost" a very large flat top, Exxex Class IIRC.

Yes it would...the same USS Lexington i had the pleasure of riding into the mouth of Hurricane Camille and out her tail...that was a fun ride and experience I will never forget...Thank y'all for the welcome...BlueEagle...
