New to the Ruger forum. Just purchased a GP100, 3" .357. Haven't even had a chance to put a round through it. Heading to fishing cabin this weekend.
Looking forward to learning lots from this group.

Well Jim,
Winter is quickly approaching. Hunting season is kicking off with Sheep and Caribou. In about 5-6 weeks, the snow will fly and NOBODY gets jealous of our 40 below temps...I will be spending a LOT of time on this forum
Cheers

In my younger days, I hunted and fished a lot in nothern Manitoba and Sasketchawan , Canada...I loved every minute of it.... except once we were stranded for 10 days past our pickup time.

Have a great hunting season, be careful.

I have never been in Alaska, but it was always on my bucket list,
Done went and got too old now..:)

I have always had the desire to go to Alaska and hunt caribou but father time will rob me of that adventure. Glad to have you on board and if you get the chance, please hunt for caribou and think of me when you do. That would be a hunt of a lifetime to find a double shovel bull and have a coat made out of the skin. Good luck and thanks for joining our little team.

Well I have been to Alaska - the Anchorage airport passing through. Welcome to Ruger Talk. I'm looking forward to your stories this winter, but am in no hurry; haven't enjoyed cold and snow much for the past half-century or so. I expect you are going to like that GP100, I have a 4" and like it fine.

Welcome to R/T.
Like others here I'm also jealous. I wanted to go to Alaska just to backpack in real wilderness. Peak season of course. Father time nixed the idea.

When it's too cold to get out, We'll be happy to pass the time with you.
Lots of friendly folks here.

Welcome again and congrats on your GP 100.
