Hi all, been lurking here a while thought I would join. There has been a lot of great info on this site and have learned a lot from it before I got into Ruger pistols. I also mess around with custom grips for my sp101, here are a few pics for ya.
    Thank You

    Thank you

for the warm welcom all, and have done a few more grips for an old army black powder a few yrs ago, but didn't take any pics. Here are a few more sp101 grips and a ak stock I refinished,,,,sorry for the russian porn. I am going to dabble with duracoat on a few guns soon, waiting for the paint to come in the mail.

    Nope

Its been 10 years since I have been down there , all my close relatives have passed from there. My family moved to cleveland in 70, my grandparents and great aunts and uncles there were tobacco farmers, and I worked the farms every summer until I was 19. Boy I sure do miss those mountains. My grandfather was a forest ranger and he taught me everything I needed to know bout gunsmithing, flyrod building, and fly tying. They didn't go to town for much, and it took me 4 summers of twisting my grannys arm just to go to pizza hut when it opened,,LOL.
