I'm happy to see Kentucky busting these guys and getting this meth off the street .. (Hickory, KY) - On Thursday, November 7, 2013 the Kentucky State Police (KSP) conducted a criminal interdiction traffic stop on a vehicle which resulted in the seizure of approximately 47 pounds of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $2.1 million dollars. The traffic stop was conducted on US 45, approximately 3 miles north of KSP Post 1 near Folsomdale. During the course of this investigation, the Kentucky State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) learned of a large shipment of crystal methamphetamine that was destined for the western Kentucky area yesterday. Information from this investigation led to the interdiction traffic stop and subsequent drug seizure. KSP and DEA arrested Marsha L. Williams (55) and Charles B. Williams (68) both of Polk, Arkansas. Also arrested were Guadalupe Rojas Gomez (34) and Juventino Maurilio Rojas-Maldonado (55) of Chicago, Illinois. All the subjects were charged with the following federal offense: Title 21 USC 841 (violations of the Controlled Substances Act), and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail. KSP and DEA were assisted by the Ballard County Sheriff's Department and the Paducah Police Department. The investigation continues by KSP and DEA.
