Just realized that I've been a lurker here but never posted. I own a number of Rugers, but am a general firearms enthusiast with a particular affection for wheel guns and AKs. I have a other hobbies too, but mostly just enjoy spending time in the woods and lounging with the hounds when I'm not working or traveling.

I look forward to getting to know some of you!

Welcome. My neck of the woods is north of the storm. I do not feel deprived. While you are snowed in, you could tell me about AKs. I haven't progressed beyond the 'they are strange looking things' stage.

I'm in Nelson, so probably just over the mountain.

Yep. I'm in Love, not far from Sherando Lake. I have kids in my youth group that go to Nelson high school.

How much snow did you wind up with? We got somewhere around 23"- there was lot of drifting, so it was hard to measure.

Welcome from Tucson, Az. You can have the snow, grew up with it and don't need any now.
