Well oil didn't fix it. It had to go back. Spoke to tech at ruger and he said that they got a batch of slide lock springs that were too short and even though they tried to weed them out some still got through. Got it back last Thursday and got it to the range on Friday. 100 rounds through it and 0 issues.

**** it dude let's go bowling

Glad to hear you got it straightened out. I had a few bumps in the road with my SR45 in the beginning that I attribute to needing to be broke in. After about 500 rounds it started smoothing out. I have over a thousand rounds through it now and it functions like a champ. The trigger and slide are as smooth as silk and it is more accurate than I am. Every time I go out in the back yard to shoot it I can hardly pull myself away from it.
