The Ruger American was awarded the 2013 Golden Bullseye Rifle of the Year from The American Rifleman magazine this morning at the NRA convention.

Congrats to Ruger, and all you award winner rifle owners out there for choosing wisely.

I don't have one yet but it's near the top of my list of next Ruger to purchase. I'm liking the .308 compact version.
