I bought a single seven and althou appears to be well made and shoots good, what's with the hammer? my Heritage Rough Rider(.22lr) and every Colt ever made, has a 4 click hammer.
seems to only be the cocked position on the Ruger. thanks.

I was doing more research and came across a youtube video by "fortunecookie45lc" that explains the Ruger SA revolvers, pre and post 1973. interesting. I got to say, this gun is a real hoot to shoot, load it up with .32acp and put holes in the target, then load it with 100gr. Fed. soft point .327 mag. --- oh, bang! fun, fun.
