It's worth what one will pay. It's not a Ruger thing other than it's a SR1911. The engraving, grips, etc all all done after the fact by an outside source. Personally, all that stuff doesn't add much if any value unless it's done by one of the well, known and respected engravers/grip makers.

I have seen those guns on Gunbroker going for $1300.00 to $1500.00......

A gun whose fair market value over replacement cost is contingent on it being left new in the box as a collector's item.

Shooting it and using it would likely decrease the value unless you're a celebrity and authenticate it.:D
