I'm an old blue steel and wood stock guy, Jim, maybe even brushed stainless--but, ya get used to it. Same finish as my M77VT and it's held up really well over a lot of heavy use. Seems like the newer Hawkeyes with that gray aren't as well done.
Super Redhawks are great, i have the 7 1/2 inch .454 Casull and love the target grey finish, wouldn't want it on all my revolvers but it really makes the SRH stand out. They are great fun to shoot and built to last a lifetime.
I've been seriously considering (actually looking for) a Redhawk in .45 LC. Does anyone know how they compare to the Super Redhawk in .454 Casull/.45 LC?
