From the day I purchased my M77 several years ago, my number one goal was to have it fitted with a detachable magazine, problem is , no one was doing one. However CDI Precision Gun Works told me they would look into it, check back later. Well after bugging them for about three years the owner Jeff said "lets do it!" So I sent in my rifle in to be the first one done,, several weeks later and a lot of anticipation, the brown Santa dropped it off a couple days ago. Let me tell you,, it is sweet. It far exceeded my expectations on fit and finish, quality, and function. The folks at CDI, Pam and Jeff, were awesome to work with and kept me informed of the progress throughout.
So if anyone is considering getting the DBM for their rifle, give CDI a call.

I have a M77 Mark II in 22-250 , awesome rifles.

Mind if I ask what it cost to have it done.
That really looks nice.

Well,, I got special pricing for offering up my rifle as a guinea pig. My guess is CDI will price them the same as all their other DBM's. Shoot Jeff and email, he will get back to with a price.
