Interesting video about other military operations that will be going on or starting the same day of the eclipse. Also tying in with other video about Sept. 23rd. Will earthquakes worse than ever experienced before start due to this eclipse? Should we all buy some depends? Or will this be just another day but with an eclipse?

Just another day.

I will get the other half of my place mowed today,
The wife is not allowed on a mower until her back completely heals.

I will wat until the eclipse is over , around 1:30 pm.
then I won't be mowing in the dark .:cheesy:

Got Guns... and more Ammo than God...

Got a house 333 feet above sea level...with more mountain above me...in between me and Philly / New York

Eclipse Report

SE Pennsylvania

Sun was out till about 1415...then clouds rolled in.

DAMN IT !!

Sky and clouds grew dark like it was gonna rain...mostly to the southwest of us

Only thing I did notice was there were NO Tree Ants on the deck...not any bugs at all.

No birds were singing or flying...that was strange for my area.

No Katydids were chirpin'...real quiet

1450...all is back to normal.

Still cloudy...birds and bugs back to business...

Maybe next time...in what...99 years !?

{ Took my depends off...why waste 'em }

We just got a partial eclipse here. Working on the T-Bird we would watch until it got to the full 60% and then looked at it through my welding helmets. No big deal but I heard on the news that the eclipse was Trump's fault.

Tommy

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schummer said that was the facts- Trump did it!!

The next eclipse will be in 2024 making an X with the patch that this one took.
Well there was at least one earthquake. Interesting to see if any more happen real soon.

I was out in the middle of the prairie in east Wyoming. The boss let us take our lunch break during the eclipse so I watched it from the middle of the railroad tracks I'm working on. We were in the total zone and had clear sky. The weird thing is how fast it got dark and how the horizon turned red all the way around us. It was like a 360 degree sunrise.

Yup, I'm a dirty railroader. We travel all over the west half of the country fixing tracks. We roll into town, do our job, and roll on outta there when we're done, and y'all better lock up your daughters when we come to your town!!!

Yaaaaaannnnnkkkkk!!!

Actually, we roll in, get up at 4:45 AM, work 12 hour days, then go back to the hotel and sleep. We're all to old and tired to chase anybody's daughters...
