Is there a good database where civilians can check numbers on guns to see if they are stolen?
I have never used it, but I never had reason to.
If you try it , let us know if it works.
If you know someone on the police dept. they possibly could check if serial number is on a stolen gun list.
Thanks phideaux, but thats user info not the real database the .gov uses. If you call police and it's stolen wouldn't you be required to give them info on where it is and who's trying to sell it to you? Why can't we the people has access to that info the authorities have?
