Anybody else have FTF problems? About 1 in 20 here. Comments? Suggestions?
Do you have another gun to shoot them in? That has been my 1st test when possible.
Historically, there have been incidents of squibs in Hornady factory rounds, probably caused by static stopping powder flow in the assembly process. Obviously that ain't what's going on here.
I had a problem when using Critical Defense in my Glock 27 .40 cal. I polished the ramp and removed some microscopic scratches and it now works great.
It would help to know what firearm you were using...1 in 20 means you only put one box through said firearm...hardly a good test.
I personally use Hornady Critical Defense 185 grain FTX @ 1000 fps in my Glock 30SF...over 100 rounds through it, not any problems.
Now that's a test that I will stake my life on...
