So I walk into our living room and my wife is watching a TV show that is doing nothing but replaying Superbowl commercials. So I watch it with her.

I am posting this during a commercial break.

Something is really wrong with this!

They used to run those "Best commercials of the 50's etc" shows. I never understood that.

I don't mind commercials, it cost money to produce television (or websites hmhmhm) but given the choice I won't sit through them for the sake of entertainment.

I just found it hard to beleive that a show that did nothing but show commercials would have commercial breaks to show more commercials!

Yet another reason for me to avoid television!

I watch TV, but most of my viewing is through Netflix which is add free.

I just bought a ROKU.
Netflix is OK. Just OK.

I still cant get totally away from commercials.

I just hate paying for TV thats being paid for by ads.

A 1 1/2 hr movie becomes a 2 hr movie.

I am a Netflix junkie. I ran myself out of stuff to whine about when I got Netflix to get away from the commercials. Now I bi...whine about how lousy the movies are. I did not know just how bad today's movies are. I always thought the movies from the late 60's and all 70's movies sucked but jeeeez, compared to what is on Netflix...I may start recording commercials to watch. I don't need commercials to coax me to waste my money...I am already good at that so I am safe. However, those silly ass "does this dress make my butt look fat" commercials are a scream...and they are also informative and educational.

"No but your butt makes the dress look like you got a watermelon down your shorts..."

"Boy, the designer shouldn't have put so much padding in the ass..."
"What ya got up there a new saddle?"

Ok, I am not good at this...I'm divorced. But maybe there are some members out there who are good at one liner slams...or faux pas. Could this be the birth of another..."and that's when the fight started" forum?

I dont think Im really gonna miss any of it , especially commercials.

Ok, maybe a little Fox News now and then, but thats it.

I watch a lot of terrible movies, lucky for me and Netflix I like them.
