Finally got my Commander off my friend had to put the right grips on it
You are a lucky dog,
Glad for ya,
Looks good, cool grips too.
Thanks phideaux, I hate the waiting to get something. When you have to make payments that is just the way it goes. Find out how it shoots Saturday, I will let you all know one way or the other.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. I like the grips also. Let us know how it shoots and how the trigger is when you get a chance. Good for you!!!!!
Muy buena pistola compadre!!!!!! We will be waiting for a range report on that one.
I need to get a 1911. Jim even gave me these gorgeous handmade grips to put on once I get one.......
Nice grips...what kinda wood are they !?
Jim says they're spalled maple
Went to the range today, the gun was accurate but I accidentally was shooting +P 230 grain coated led bullets. Tomorrow I will post the pics as I am to frustrated now. I have 200 rounds to pull and reload. I did shoot 100 of the +P as it was all I had.
All the guns SG has been buying and he still hasn't bought a 1911? He must be waiting for Tommy to gift him one of his.
Exactly. I'm pretty sure he's sending me the 9mm sr1911.
As promised, the pics, first the 100 rounds at 10 yards, then the 8 rounds with 4.5 grains 700X at 7 yards
Well that rabbit didn't get to his hole.
I have to apologize as I sent the wrong caliber to you!!! I sent you a .45 instead of the 9mm so I will have to run to the post office and see if they forwarded it on already. I have a buddy who works there and he can pull some strings for me. Geeeeeeeez, I feel so bad I got the calibers mixed up.........:dunno:
I will get back to you. I got tears in my eyes as big as horse turds and am so embarrassed......:brickwall:
