I have seen a couple of you guys post pics of animal tracks, and we tried to identify what animal made it.

Sooooo, I was just walking around my pond,
I could barely cover it with my hand.

I spotted this one.... and thought ..I need to get a pic of this and start this thread.
That's a 300 Win mag case for sizing..(all I had with me )
This is 50 yards from my back door.

Note the 'dewclaws'. That doesn't help me ID it of course.

I'm like SG. They do have some elk in Kentucky. Roosevelt Elk I believe.
    Or maybe Bigfoot?

10 years ago on opening day of deer season , my nephew killed the biggest white tail buck Ive ever seen, it was a 16 point., and the 2 of us couldn't pick him up, after field dressing it. I'm sure it was a 300 lb buck. He had it chest mounted. It is huge.

Want to know something. He killed it in the exact same spot as I found these White Tail Buck tracks today.:cool:

These are the biggest white tail buck tracks Ive ever seen in my life time.
Ive seen some big ones , but not like this.

When I first sawn it , I thought , cows are out, but that's not it. I went to another spot where they cross my property and found more.

    He is BIG.
    I'm bettin 300lb +

I'm buying a trail camera tomorrow, I gotta get a pic of this one.:)

Well in order for it to be an Elvis print then he had to leave the building. Sheesh! It was outside for cripe sakes.
Off topic a bit........Does anyone remember the same week that Elvis died the song The King is Gone came out on the radio?

Ordered the trail camera from Rural King on Friday evening,

    Got it this morning,

Gotta go buy an SD card for it , set it up, then find a good place to hang it .

Hope I catch a pic of that big boy.

Got the SD card , got the camera setup,

Hanging on a tree overlooking the north end of my pond, where those tracks were made.

Put apples at a fence crossing last couple days, they are disappearing, so I may move the camera, or get another one , for back there , after a week or so.
