I have been lurking around a few gun trading sites looking for a .45 that could be upgraded to fire .45 super ammo (like a S&W 4506 or a Glock21). I offered up one of my Ruger Redhawks and had a guy respond with an offer to trade a SR45. I have not been able to find any information on the compatibility of the SR45 with 45 super ammo. Does anyone know if the SR45 can be beefed up to support the more powerful round?

I have done a lot of searching and questioning, but nobody knows the answer to this question. I eventually passed on the SR45 and opted for a Glock product.
