    That is one Mil rifle Ive wanted for years , just never found one I liked and could afford.

    My Springfield M1...manufactured in November 1944...

    pictured with an original M1942 16" bayonet ( very rare...most were cut down to 10" ) and a repo M7 fragmentation grenade launcher.

    This one is a 5 digit serial number they say was made in 1940...I went with the CMP restoration and got this one in Special grade....I love this rifle!!

    Kmurray shot it this week and I had to pry it from his hands!!! We had a big ole' time shooting it!!
