I picked a used Ruger Blackhawk revolver in 30 cal carbine. Attached are photos of the cylinder. Does this look correct or has someone been messing with it? The electric pencil "B" on one side of the cylinder might be a clue. It shoots OK, but some times the spent casings are hard to eject. Thanks for any comments.

Just asking,
Is that a B or possibly a number 13. What are the last two digits of the revolver serial number ? Ruger did pencil the last of serial numbers on revolver cylinders.

That got me curious, but dang, no 13 anywhere in the serial number. Any thoughts on the grove machined into the face of the cylinder? Just doesn't appear factory.
