I saw a Blackhawk 357 mag 6 1/2" blue for $475 at my LGS Thursday and waited till Saturday to purchase.......too late. It was gone:(. I would prefer stainless, but it was clean, although no box or papers. Still looking.

ive owned several of the blackhawk all different configurations, and still an all time favorite, they arent usually hard to round up except when your looking,
fine looking gun wish mine was stainless bought in the 70 s
Nice RUT. Can I borrow it when you aren't using it???:D

I'm still looking. A different LGS said they had one, but they were "moving" today, could I call tomorrow. If it is still there tomorrow.
Right, I'll bring it with me next time we go down to Naples. LOL
I have a pair of Blackhawks I bought for cowboy action many years ago. I need to dig them out and shoot them....chris3
I love the BH's point-shooting ease. It just goes where you want it. Mine's the 50th anniversary blued.

I would not have waited. For that price, I would have walked out with it as soon as I saw it. I’d really like to have one of those, but they seem to be one of the affected guns in all this dang panic buying. Would not have expected that. LGS usually has one in stock, but I doubt they could even order one now. I procrastinated too long yet again.
Bought mine in 75. 6.5" barrel, SS, convertable to 9mm. Extremely accurate in the 9 and 38 mode. That's the one I pull out at the range when the lane next to me is a little bit good.
I traded my Blackhawk, blue, .357 for a 1911 in .45. I did this several years back. The 45 turned out to be junk.

A few months back, at my favourite LGS, my wife saw a Blackhawk in Stainless, .357 with a 4" barrel. She forced me to get it.

Love it. Shots great. Now looking for a decent holster.
Funny! I traded my 1911 .45 (back in the early '90's) for a convertable .357 Blackhawk and a convertable Single Six. Every once in a while I second guess the trade, but I LOVE those Rugers. I have Mernickle PS6SA holsters for both...carry the Blackhawk as my primary CCW in winter months. I just don't feel outgunned. Plus, I can push 6 SA rounds down range ACCURATELY almost as fast as 6 DA rounds down range (less accurately). Yes, I also have a Service Six, but that Mernicle is more comfortable than my Security Six's Galco Miami shoulder holster...depends on my coat-for-the-day. But I slip off topic...sorry.
Stopped at the next LGS today. The gun wasn't in as good shape as the first one, many scratches (maybe abused), no wood handles and cost more. Still looking. No one has new ones either. Still looking.:)
