That company has always been publicly left-of-center, but until now has focused on do-gooder programs that are not directly political. May or may not be a big step. If the young icecream eaters in the family push for the B&J products... ?

I am guessing B&J are opening new stores in Iran.

I don't eat their ice cream, anyway. I'm a tightwad. Why buy expensive ice cream when you can put that money towards ammo?:D

Either way, I would stop buying their product over it. I don't buy new Ford's anymore- they made a public statement years ago that they would go bankrupt before they would stop funding the homosexual agenda. No Starbucks, no Target, no Buffalo Wild Wings. The sun rose today, and it will come up again tomorrow, with or without that stuff.

I bought their ice cream recipe book years ago. That was my last B&J purchase. $5 if I remember. I make my own now. Certainly will not buy if I'm having a quickie craving.

Years ago (too many of them) B&J had a plant in Springfield VT, same town I worked in. Occasionally they would send a case or two of 'surplus' icecream down the road to my plant, freebies. It's good icecream, though some of the flavor combinations are kind of icky to an adult palate. Too expensive at the store though.

The Iran nuke deal has so much smoke&mirrors around it, I can't get though the pros and cons of it. Even beyond the partisan propaganda, there are a lot of 'if-thens' that I can't cipher on.

    Bob,

Every time I hear about the Iran nuke deal, there seems to be a hitch to it. Something doesn't pass the smell test here. Obama seems to keep certain info from us and the press. I can understand that some of it we don't need to know, however when you have that many generals stating it is not a good deal, and many are career officers who are resigning, it really makes one wonder. Same way with Iran terrorism. Obama stated he doesn't have a plan to get rid of ISIS yet the Pentagon says that they have all kinds of plans but Obama won't listen to them. Obama was asked how he rated himself as president and he said he felt he was among the top ten presidents that have ever served. I am sure he didn't find a poll that rated him. His ego and being as arrogant as possible makes me want to puke. He has an agenda and no matter who objects, he will continue to pursue his ideology. And Hillderbeast is not any better. She is farther left of Obama and his greatest rating is being called a "liar". Now that fact I won't dispute.

    Tommy,

I have seen only two kinds of opinions about the deal. One is party-line excretions from politicians, one from general officers. It's been a long time - since Vietnam - since I have respected the words of either group. The mildest expletive I can come up with is 'self-serving'. I'm pretty sure there are patriots in both groups, but their voices get drowned out.
