Hello from the Oregon coast! I, too, just received my invite to join this forum. I have 2 Rugers, a 10/22 TD and an SR22. My wife also has an SR22. We enjoy shooting our 22's in the backyard (backed up to hillside in an unincorporated area). We have other guns but those aren't the fun Rugers. I haven't had the opportunity to really stretch the 10/22's legs yet, only fired about 50 rounds so far, but, summer is on the way (I think). I'll also be shooting some black powder this summer with a Pietta Colt Navy .36 and an NAA .22 magnum cap and ball. Looks to be a fun summer ahead.:)

Thanks for the welcome

Thanks, guys! I hope to find a good place to really get some long distance shooting in (more than the 40 feet in my backyard).

Wingspar, what part of Oregon coast are you? I'm in the Otis area, about 6 miles inland from the Pacific.

I guess I'm going to need to make my shots count as .22 ammo is getting hard to find...quality over quantity this summer.;)

Had to look Otis up to see where it is. Haven’t been further north than Reedsport for a good many years. I’m down by Brookings.

I’ve heard there isn’t a box of .22 ammo to be found all along the coast. Some lady bought all the .22 ammo at Freddies in Brookings a week or so ago. Over $800 worth. That’s when the guy behind the counter should have limited her purchase. Hurts a lot of other people looking for it.
