    Hi,

Just got my first Ruger/TacSol Xring 22 and now it’s time for me to buy a scope. I’m going to be using it for small game 50 to 100 yards out.

Which scope should I get? Ideally I want to mount it so I can still see my iron sites (just in case)... so please recommend which mount I should get with the scope.

How else should I modify this amazing rifle?

    Thanks!

I just put a Nikon rim fire scope on mine and it seems to be a NAIL DRIVER (scope 4x12x40)

Vortex Crossfire II Rimfire is a nice one as well. Sharp and clear, great for the money.

[IMG] to the forum. I guess I didn't realise that the X-Ring 10/22's were available with sights.
If you have one that does, look for see-through rings for the Weaver style bases. Keep in mind though, using the higher rings will have you lifting your head off the stock somewhat.
As far as modifications, I'd recommend that you shoot your new rifle for awhile to see if there's anything involved with it that you'd like to change to fit your style better.
Post some pictures if you can do that.
