That's how many rounds of 22lr ammo I shot in under two hours this morning.
I took my Sig 1911-22 and my Ruger RST6 out for some much exercise.
One 10 rd mag for the Sig and 6 nine rd mags for the Ruger. That's 64 rds per cycle and 8 cycles. I spent a lot of time loading. I wasn't shooting at targets because they don't react and therefore not much fun. What I was shooting at thanks to the shot gunners who don't pick up there empties was a lot of reactive targets (fired shells). At distances from 3 to 10 yards for the majority of them. I also shot a few at 60 yds for fun and only hit a soda can sized target times out of 18 shots with the Ruger.
I had a first shot hit rate of more than 80%. It was the second outing for the Sig. The first was in Feb 2012 when I bought it. The sights were dead on at about 7 yds.
The Ruger I've had since 76 and is the best no sight shooter I have, even though I haven't shot it in a long time I was amazed at my accuracy with it. I guess all those years of practice with it helped. I had a great time wasting the ammo. Next time I'll have to bring some exploding target with me for even more fun.
