2 digit SBH pawn shop find

    I found a 2 digit serial number SBH in a pawn shop yesterday in about 95% condition. Any idea what it may be worth? Traded a Taurus 22lr/22mag revolver for it! I think I did okay. Will post a pic later.

    Well, its obviously a first year production. IIRC 1959. That should be worth something.

    Has it had the safety conversion done? If so, do you have the parts that came off of it? If not that will take a bit away.

    However desirable, condition is still the dominant factor in determining value.

    Blue Book only offers it at 525.00 in 95% unless brass framed or in a particular presentation case. Rugers usually go higher than book in my area. I expect the low serial number will mean a lot to some collectors. I look forward to the responses.

    I'm sure you'll get more activity after you post your pic.

    It's stock.........looks to be factory horn grips also.
