I am preparing to purchase a stainless 10/22 and the LGS has a Stainless Takedown model and a regular Stainless 10/22 rifle. Of course the Takedown costs more but is it as reliable as the standard rifle? Anyone had any issues with the Takedown model?

I have owned a 10/22 take down in stainless for 2 years now and have had no problems. It is very accurate every time i put it together.

I've had no issues with mine either. I have a scope on mine and it never looses zero.

No issues with mine, either. Shoots as good and as reliably as my non-takedown model.

Sounds like it's worth the extra cost. Thanks guys.

No issues with mine other than a few FTF during the first few rounds... I have a red dot sight on mine and it seems to be holding zero.
