That's nice! I like the Mannlicher-style stock.

Very nice rifle. I do love those. I have one of the wally world special stainless with laminated stock. It looks and shoots really nice.
I cant tell if yours is walnut or just stained but I think it looks more "classy" than the laminated stock. Love to find a natural wood stock like yours that I could afford someday.

I just picked up one of those handsome machines, mine is stainless steel and has the older style trigger group. Dates from 1996 and looks like new.

I want a Mannlicher 10/22! Must find! Where did you guys find them?

I was just lucky. I spotted a new one in the summer of 2012 but it was sold before I got the bucks together to buy it. I look at the local gun dealer's web sites to see what they have in stock and found this used/like new one for less than $300 about two months ago. I had actually considered buying a standard 10/22 and finding a mannlicher stock for it.

Had an old one 20 years ago, a minty 5 digit one. Traded it towards a #1. Picked up a shooter grade one, another old 5 digit one, a year or so ago. Now I find myself with a newer checkered stock from the recent TALO run that's leaning in the corner. Hmmm, might have to use it for a project.
