This one pulls at my most inner emotions thinking of those that have past on and someday perhaps seeing them again.

I recently discovered The Black Keys. They're kind of a missing link in rock & roll - before the blues rockers became famous they probably played about like this. For their early albums, imagine Johnny Winter jamming with the Allman Brothers, but still in their "imitate delta blues" phase. You can hear Cream and Pink Floyd in some of their later work.

How many remember cruising or smooching to these?

Jeez Jim,

Now you are asking about our favorite songs and relating to age. Just because some of these are my favorites doesn't mean I am old and crotchety and grumpy like Bob and Buster. Those guys were in their teens when they came out and I was just getting out of diapers when I first heard them!!!!! :cryinglaugh:

Tommy P.S. One of my favorites is "Positively 4th Street" by Bob Dylan. And if my memory is correct, as usual, that song came out in 1984-0985 however I MIGHT be wrong-doubtful!!

In an interview, McCartney said that he wrote this after the Beatles when he wasn't doing much.
He was contacted and asked to write a tune for a James Bond movie, called Live and Let Die.
He said that it took him about 15 minutes and had no idea it would be such a hit.
